Our S.A.V.E. system’s seamless integration minimizes and mitigates the loss of life and serious bodily injury.
The S.A.V.E. system is designed to enhance on-scene emergency care, recovery and extraction of persons involved in Active Shooter/Mass Casualty situations where standard EMS/Fire procedures "WILL NOT SUFFICE".
This intense 2 day (16 hours) "INSTRUCTOR" program promotes a highly effective plan for developing and implementing procedures for rapidly extracting critically injured persons during an ongoing Active Shooter/Mass Shooting event.
This course will provide physical techniques and tactical methodology for the following:
- Forward Collection Point
- How to set up an FCP in any environment.
- The operation, policy and procedures, equipment
considerations.
- Extraction methodology and equipment
considerations
- Review standard extraction procedures and necessary considerations required in the tactical environment.
- Demonstrate and instruct the different extraction methods with unique equipment considerations
- Patient Sorting and Tactical Assessment
- Review current TCCC medical treatment recommendations.
- Demonstrate and instruct how to operate recommended equipment to facilitate a rapid and highly efficient extraction (S.A.V.E. drop bag, leg medical pouch).
- Demonstrate and instruct how to effectively perform a tactical patient assessment.
- Situational Awareness and Tactical Movement Techniques
- Demonstrate and instruct effective methods for combined movement with Law Enforcement in 2-4 man S.A.V.E. team(s).
- Demonstrate and instruct multiple tactical movement exercises that will greatly increase your safety in an Active Shooter situation.
- Demonstrate and fully explain Law Enforcements "Rapid Deployment" tactics.
This carefully crafted program will provide the latest tactical methodology and instruction to assist public safety agencies in implementing critical policy and procedures to effectively rescue endangered persons from a high threat environment. Participants will receive a compilation of hands on / short lecture skill building sessions with a culmination field training exercise placing together all newly obtained skills and methodology.
Society understands that EMS and Fire personnel are not armed law enforcement officers but many expect these professionals to place themselves in highly dangerous environments to render critical life support.
