The S.A.V.E. system is designed to enhance on-scene emergency care, recovery and extraction of persons involved in Active Shooter/Mass Casualty situations where standard Law Enforcement and EMS/Fire procedures "WILL NOT SUFFICE".
The S.A.V.E. system will forge Law Enforcement and Fire/EMS first responder capabilities into one seamless integrated team to minimize and mitigate the loss of life and serious bodily injury.
This intense 1 day (8 hour) "INSTRUCTOR" program promotes a highly effective plan for developing and implementing procedures for rapidly extracting critically injured persons during an ongoing Active Shooter/Mass Casualty event.
Participants will receive a compilation of hands on/ short lecture skill building sessions with a culmination field training exercise. Each participant that successfully completes this course will be able to bring back to their department valuable training and policy ideas as it relates to:
· Establishing SECURITY for a Forward Collection Point (FCP)
· Formation/Movement/Terminology for a S.A.V.E. Team
· Establishing an IMMEDIATE ACTION PLAN (IAP)
· Incident Command and Crisis Planning
