Jerry D. Mitchum

Jerry D. Mitchum
President / Chief Training Consultant

Jerry is the Senior Instructor and Full-Time trainer for the Boone County Sheriff's Department. He has been in Law Enforcement for 19 years and is responsible for training 160 plus Deputies annually in "Street Survival", "High Risk Patrol tactics", and weapon qualifications. He has been on SWAT for 15 years and is currently the Field Operations Commander as well as the Senior Tactics Instructor. He holds various Law Enforcement "INSTRUCTOR" certifications: Submachine gun, Tactical Handgun, Tactical Shotgun, Patrol Rifle, Less Lethal, OC/CN/CS, SIMS, FATS, CQB, QUAD, Taser, Tactical Training, Patrol Training, and Hostage Survival. He has instructed in these skill areas for over 15 years, been the Lead Instructor for various SWAT courses, and has been a guest Tactical Instructor for one of the leading TEMS training companies in the country. Jerry has conducted numerous "Real World" missions as well as been responsible to help coordinate multiple Dignitary Protection Plans in his area.

Robert Creager

Robert Creager

Rob is a career Firefighter/Paramedic for the Kissimmee Fire Department. He is a Senior Tactical Medic for the Kissimmee SWAT Team as well as a member of the departments HAZMAT Team. He holds numerous "INSTRUCTOR" certifications: Florida Paramedic Instructor, TCCC Instructor, ACLS, PEPP, PHTLS as well as other military and civilian certifications. He has instructed in these skill areas for over 14 years, been the Lead Instructor for various Tactical Medic classes, and is currently a guest Tactical Medic Instructor for one of the leading TEMS training companies in the country. He is a Navy Veteran (HM) who served with the Fleet Marine Force as a Hospital Corpsman. Rob's pre-hospital medicine experience extends over 18 years combined military and civilian EMS.

Kenneth Russell

Kenneth Russell
Senior Training Consultant Tactical Medicine, SAVE FE, Military Training

Ken is a current EMT-P, former 68WW1 (Ranger Medic), and a retired U.S. Army Sergent Major. During his 21 plus years in the military he has served in a variety of assignments which include four years at Ft. Riley KS with the First Infantry Division (Big Red One) Desert Shield/Storm, three years in the 82nd Airborne Division, seven years in the U.S. 75th Ranger Regiment (two years as a Paramedic Instructor at the JFKSWCS), and four years in the Joint Special Operations Command. His qualifications include: U.S. Army Airborne School, Ranger School, U.S. Army's Army Advanced Land Navigation Course, Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic, ROCO Confined Space/High Angle Rescue Technician, Self Defense Instructor (Linear Infighting), Tactical Emergency Medicine Instructor, and is currently in Pre-Nursing school at the University of North Carolina Pembroke. Ken has had multiple combat deployments both in the military and as a civilian contractor.

Keith Jochem

Senior Training Consultant Fire/EMS, SAVE FE, TEMS, Military Training

Keith is a career Emergency Rescue Technician with the City of Alexandria Fire Department. He is an instructor for the department's Special Operations Team/tactical medics. He has 6 years of military special operations experience as a US Army Ranger. He was the senior medical noncommissioned officer for Aco 1st Ranger Battalion specializing in combat medicine, light infantry tactics, CQB, airborne operations, and combat search and rescue. He also served as a tactical live tissue instructor to provide continuing education for Ranger EMT's. He has served multiple combat tours throughout Afghanistan and Iraq and is a Department of State certified "High Threat Personal Security Specialist/Medic". His expansive tour of two years working with Blackwater on a Protective Security Detail (PSD) in Iraq has given him "real world" experience in threat assessment, tactical medicine, dignitary personal protection, motorcade driving/security, and recognition and counter measures with IED's. He is currently a guest Tactical Medic Instructor for one of the leading TEMS training companies in the country. Keith holds multiple "INSTRUCTOR" certifications and has over 13 years combined military and civilian EMS pre-hospital medical care experience.

Keith Jochem

Bill Fletcher
Senior Training Consultant Fire/EMS, SAVE FE, Crisis Planning, EMA

William “Bill” Fletcher is a deputy director of the Boone County, Kentucky Office of Emergency Management and a Captain with the Hebron, Kentucky, Fire Protection District where he serves as a shift commander. He has worked in both emergency management and the fire service for 18 years and holds a degree in business administration with an emphasis in management. He also works for the Kentucky Community and Technical College System as an adjunct faculty member in the fire/rescue science program, and currently serves as the equipment and training officer for the Northern Kentucky Regional WMD/Hazardous Materials Response Team. Bill is one of 617 emergency management professionals worldwide that hold the "Certified Emergency Manager" designation, which is conferred by the International Association of Emergency Managers.

Jason Bowling

Jason Bowling
Training Consultant Fire/EMS, SAVE FE

Jason is a career Firefighter/Paramedic for the Burlington, Kentucky, Fire Protection District. He also works “part time” with the Edgewood, Kentucky, Fire/EMS and the Independence, Kentucky, Fire District. He has been in the fire/EMS service for over 11 years now and just recently joined the Northern Kentucky Technical Rescue Team.

Doug Mallery

Doug has been in Law Enforcement for 16 years with the Boone County Sheriff’s Department where he currently serves as a Sergeant in the Patrol Division. He has been on SWAT for 14 years and is currently the SWAT Commander. He is the Lead Supervisor for the physical fitness program and a member of the department’s “Traffic Interdiction Team” where he holds a North American Inspector Certification. Doug has conducted numerous “Real World” missions as well as been responsible to help coordinate multiple Dignitary Protection Plans in his area.

Wallace

Jason Wallace
Training Consultant Fire/EMS, SAVE FE

Jason is a career Firefighter/EMT-B for the Burlington Fire Protection District. He has been in the fire service for 13 years and 10 of those years he has been in EMS. He is an IFSAC Level 1 instructor as well as IFSAC 1 and 2 certified. He has also received certifications in Emergency Response to Terrorism, Fire Inspector, Fire Prevention Inspector, Arson Detection, WMD Technical Emergency Response "COBRA", Hazardous Materials Awareness, Hazardous Material Operations, and U.S. Department of Labor “Initial Tunnel Rescue”. Jason has been instructing firefighters for several years on the essentials of being a firefighter.

Chris Combs

Chris is a senior Deputy with the Boone County Sheriff's Department. He has been in Law Enforcement for 17 years. He has spent the last 14 years on SWAT and is currently a Senior Team Leader. He is a certified I.P.M.B.A. Instructor; and also holds several other Law Enforcement instructor certifications. He is certified in Covert Operations, Dignitary protection, Tactical Operations level 1 and level 2, and Sub-machine gun operator. Chris has conducted numerous "Real World" operations over his career in both Covert Operations and SWAT.
