Survival Option Services is proud to announce, "ADVANCED SWAT SKILLS" for the Tactical Medic . This course was developed with one person in mind, the Tactical Medic.
Each year there is more and more importance being placed on a tactical team's medic due to the increasing "threats" of TERRORIST ATTACKS and the ever increasing "occurrence" of an ACTIVE SHOOTER.
With this, S.O.S. developed this high intensity 24 hour course which is spread out over 2 days.
The primary focus of this course will be SWAT "Tactics" as they pertain to Operators, Team Leaders, and Tactical Medics. S.O.S. will also place a high priority on your current skill level and will give you a better self-evaluation of where you are in your Tactical Medical Skills.
You will be placed in highly dynamic "Force on Force" real world scenarios and asked to perform in each of the Tactical roles. You will have the unique opportunity to use realistic marking systems which will help you better understand what does and what doesn't work in the Tactical world.

Medical Assessments:
- Accurate Rapid Trauma assessments
- Equipment utilization and evaluation based on requirements for Tactical Operations
- Demanding prolonged stabilization of critical patients in austere environments
- Medical Mission Planning and implementation
- Mass casualty situations requiring practical and efficient TRIAGE implementation and coordination
Upon completion of this demanding course you will leave with more confidence in your abilities as a TEMS provider, more confidence in your equipment, and able to return to your Team with the Tactical experience and knowledge to fully function in any situation that may arise.
